Friday 7 February was Primary’s latest Arts and Culture event: Rhythm-Dot-Line. The IST students had spent a busy few weeks working together in collaborative groups to create works of music, starting with rhythm, then adding instruments, notes, and even lyrics. Parents were invited to observe the action, and see their children’s work come together before it was performed for peers and parents.
While parents’ ears were treated to music, there were also treats for their eyes- the upper and lower primary both had also been studying the artistic elements of Dot and Line, and the school was festooned with the products of their learning. There were even works of art created by the IST teachers!
