DP Students do research on Ameland
The week in Ameland was an emotional rollercoaster for everyone. Research isn’t easy. In fact, at the beginning of the week, we were much too confident, thinking we knew exactly what we were going to do. However, soon enough we came to realise the number of uncertainties involved in our experiments, and the difficulty of the statistical test which we needed to use. A lot had to be done and learned. So that is exactly what we did; we worked during the day, and during the evenings we shared our knowledge. After all, we are stronger together. Everyone brought their own ideas to the group, and we were always ready to help one another. That is what made this week such a huge success! Nevertheless, next to all the studying, we still had time to be outside, and explore the breath-taking nature of Ameland.
